Collaboratively developed by Yayasan Beranda Warisan Sumatra and the Medan Heritage Foundation, and supported by the Ministry of Health, Welfare, and Sport of the Netherlands, the platform offers a comprehensive exploration of the area’s colonial past. Through digitized personal archives, historical photographs, and 3D visualizations, visitors can immerse themselves in the stories of the Deli plantations, which were pivotal in the global tobacco trade during the Dutch colonial era.
