Paul Rozendaal worked as a substitute public prosecutor at the Temporary Military Court in Medan. After a short interruption in the Netherlands, Paul Rozendaal returns and is appointed as the 3rd, later 2nd, secretary at the headquarters of AVROS.

Guuz Rozendaal is son of Paul Rozendaal and Carla Koentze. Their Indonesian story begins in 1946 with their deployment to Dutch East Indies and ends with the forced repatriation in 1958 to the Netherlands.
